When you are a member of First Atlantic Federal Credit Union you are an owner of a financial cooperative. Each year, we set aside time for our annual meeting to inform our members about previous year’s business, future plans, and to elect members of the board.
First Atlantic Federal Credit Union (FAFCU) will hold its 86th Annual Meeting at 6:00 PM on March 25, 2022, at the First Atlantic Federal Credit Union Corporate Headquarters, 468 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey, 07724.
Following the business meeting and election, there will be a brief reception for members to meet with First Atlantic's Volunteer Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. Two members of the First Atlantic Federal Credit Union (FAFCU) Board of Directors will be elected at this meeting. A Nominating Committee chaired by Charles Foster nominated the following for election, who also are recommended for election by the current FAFCU Board of Directors.
Deborah has volunteered her services as a member of the FAFCU Board of Directors and various committees for over twenty years and has been a member of FAFCU for over thirty years. She has served FAFCU as Board Chair, Vice Chair, Governance Committee Chair, and member of the Finance Committee. In addition, Dr. Frank serves on the National Association of Federal Credit Unions Legislative Committee. Dr. Frank holds the title of Credit Union Director, granted at the London Business School by the Credit Union Executive Society. She has an undergraduate degree from Georgian Court College, a Master of Arts from Seton Hall University, a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and a Doctorate of Educational Administration from Rutgers University.
Dr. Frank is a retired Department of the Army employee, where she was Chief, Business Management and Operations in the Program Executive Office – Command, Control, and Communications, responsible for strategic planning and acquisition management. Dr. Frank was also employed by a Defense Contractor as a Program Manager for a $20.0 B contract vehicle, responsible for developing a strategic approach to the development and implementation and growth of the overall program. In addition, she served as the Enterprise Quality Officer for a management and technology consulting firm. Dr. Frank is the author of numerous papers on Federal Acquisition Management and Management operations, one of which earned a Commandant’s Award for Excellence in Research. She was an adjunct professor of Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management for the MBA program at St. Peter’s College and has presented at numerous conferences and seminars on the topic of Acquisition Management at Monmouth University.
Dr. Frank resides with her family in West Allenhurst, NJ.
Joseph currently serves First Atlantic Federal Credit Union (FAFCU) as a member of its Board of Directors and FAFCU Secretary. He previously served as FAFCU Treasurer. Mr. Riepl has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hall University, and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), as administered by the Association for Financial Professionals, the leading association for treasury and financial management professionals. He was selected to serve on the two most recent AFP Body of Knowledge Committee’s, responsible for editing and updating the source material used to administer the CTP exam. Mr. Riepl has spent his entire career in the Treasury field and is currently the Director of Treasury with Ascend Wellness Holdings. He previously served as a member of a Credit Union Supervisory Committee.
Mr. Riepl currently lives with his family in Rumson, NJ.
