FREE FIRST CHECK ORDER: Basic checks
FIRST ATLANTIC SIGNATURE REWARDS VISA® CREDIT CARD DOUBLE POINTS: Double points will be awarded on all purchases made and posted from the first day of the calendar month that you achieve “Shore Gold” status and continue as long as you maintain “Shore Gold” status. Balance transfers and cash advances do not qualify for points. You will receive 2 reward points for every $1 spent, credited daily.
FIRST ATLANTIC PLATINUM VISA® CREDIT CARD DISCOUNTED RATE: A discount of 0.50% will be awarded the month you achieve “Shore Gold” status and 0.25% for “Shore Silver”. If you move between “Shore Gold” and “Shore Silver” or fall out of the Shore Thing™ Rewards program, your rate will increase to the prevailing rate. You will be notified of this 45 days prior to any change.
OUT-OF-NETWORK ATM FEES: You can make an unlimited number of withdrawals from ATMs in our surcharge-free network without any surcharge from the owner of the ATM. For non-First Atlantic-owned ATMs (including surcharge-free ATMs), get reimbursed up to $10 per month with “Shore Gold” and up to $5 per month with “Shore Silver”. Rebates will occur at the end of each month.
PROGRAM DETAILS: We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of “Shore Thing™ Rewards from First Atlantic” at any time.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: “Shore Thing™ Rewards from First Atlantic” is open to all First Atlantic members in good standing. Members with a “Shore Thing™ Rewards Score” of 200–399 points are eligible for “Shore Silver” rewards, and members with a “Shore Thing™ Rewards Score” of 400+ points are eligible for “Shore Gold” rewards. Your “Shore Thing™ Rewards Score” is updated on the last business day of each month (business days exclude Sundays and holidays) and members can increase in level effective the first day of the following month unless they are no longer a member in good standing.
HOW YOUR SHORE REWARDS SCORE IS CALCULATED: Points are earned for personal accounts and services, and certain business products and services. See the Business Services section of the chart for further detail. Points for First Atlantic accounts are assigned to the primary accountholder only, with the exception of points for mortgages and for balances associated with First Atlantic Shore Interest checking, savings and certificate accounts, which are assigned to both the primary accountholder and the joint accountholder. Activity must post to your account by 5pm Eastern Time on the last business day of the month to count toward your “Shore Rewards.” Points earned in each product or service category can only be earned once per category.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS ABOUT HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED: Checking: Earn points for Shore Interest Checking. Points earned on only one checking account per associated Shore Rewards Program. Does not include Health Savings Accounts. Active Credit Card: Any activity within the last 30 days, including a purchase, cash advance, or payment.
Credit Card Transactions per Month: Includes purchase transactions. Excludes balance transfers, cash advances, and credits/refunds. If you have more than one First Atlantic credit card, transactions from all cards will count toward the monthly transactions. Note that the credit card transaction is counted in the month that the transaction is charged to your account. For example, if you make a transaction on April 30, and the transaction is posted to your account on May 2, it will count as a transaction in May.
Debit Card Transactions per Month: Excludes ATM transactions. If you have more than one checking account and debit card, non-PIN transactions from all cards will count toward the monthly transactions. Note that the non-PIN debit card transaction is counted in the month that the transaction is posted to your account. For example, if you make a transaction on April 30, and the transaction is debited from your account on May 2, it will count as a transaction in May.
Direct Deposit: To earn points, a minimum of $500 must be direct deposited in a First Atlantic account in a calendar month.
Paperless Banking: To qualify for points, enroll in Online Documents (receive your statements and other account documents online), and also use Online or Mobile Banking at least once a month (“use” means, at minimum, logging into First Atlantic Online or Mobile Banking, or using any Online Banking text alerts).
Home Equity Loan/Line of Credit: To earn points for a Home Equity Line of Credit, there must be an outstanding balance. Other Consumer Loans: Includes personal loan, debt consolidation loan, boat/RV loan and secured loan. Also includes personal lines of credit with balances.
