FIRST ATLANTIC COVID-19 UPDATES

As we all face the disruption and uncertainty related to Coronavirus (COVID-19), please be assured that First Atlantic is here and ready to help meet your needs.

We understand there may be instances because of the impacts of COVID-19 that members may find themselves facing financial difficulties. We encourage members who are impacted to reach out to discuss how we might be of assistance, such as:

Suspended fees at First Atlantic

For the next 60 days, we're waiving fees for overdrafts, excessive transactions for savings and money market accounts, and expedited shipping of checks and debit cards.

Deferred payments for First Atlantic Auto Loans

You may defer your payment. Please contact us to arrange for the deferment. During this time, finance charges will accrue, but you won't be charged any late fees.

Deferred First Atlantic Home payments

If you're facing financial hardship due to an interruption in your income, you may defer your First Atlantic Home payments. Please contact us to arrange for the deferment. During this time, interest will accrue, but you won't be charged any late fees or have impacts to your credit.

Payroll deposits will be posted a day early if received from your employer

Caring for our First Atlantic team

To limit the number of employees in one location, many of our team will be working remotely. However, be assured we will still be able to provide you with the level of service you’ve come to expect.

Service through First Atlantic Branches

In order to help follow state guidelines and for the safety of our staff and members, we’ve updated our hours and how to interact directly with our branch network. Effective immediately:
Branches will be open Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. If you need to physically enter the branch, due to the sensitive nature of your visit, it is important you make an appointment by contacting us at 800-342-1184 or . Otherwise, we encourage you to utilize our drive ups, ATMs, call center, mobile and online banking to transact with us.

Small Business Relief (CARES Act)

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”), signed into law introduces the Paycheck Protection Program (the “PPP”) with $349 billion in funding and the goal of preventing job loss and small businesses failure due to losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new PPP loan program is available for eligible small businesses, including sole proprietors, and non-profits, with fewer than 500 employees, to provide a forgivable loan to cover payroll and other costs.

With that, First Atlantic is committed to helping our members navigate this process. So, if you’re a current business owner or work for a qualified business, we are accepting online applications to get you the help you need.

What if you don’t currently have a business account with First Atlantic and want to apply through our online application? Simply give us a call at 800-342-1184 to open a business account with First Atlantic. Once your account is established, you’ll be eligible to apply.
